Waldin), manually infested with avocado red mite (Olygonichus yothersi McGregor). Damage rating increased linearly over each 14 day period. Net photosynthesis decreased 28 days after mite infestation. There was no decrease in transpiration or stomatal conductance of infested leaves at this time. Transpiration decreased 42 days after infestation, presumably due to a decrease in stomatal conductance.
