The influence of light, nutrition, water regime and plant density on plan growth, metabolism and yield was studied, either in coffee seedlings or trees. The aspects tested are: - Growth dynamics in seedlings from different plant densities under light conditions, therefore, different mathematical functions were used to select the best fit, besides calculating the behaviour of different growth functions. - Transpiration rate at different seedling age and time, related to soil moisture as well as at different plant densities. - Evapotranspiration within nursing period. - Pigment contend and photosinthetic capacity, main photosynthetic products and leaf distribution of phosphorus under several conditions of light, fertilization and physiological stage
