All 4 compounds showed some degree of control against H. vastatrix. Bismuth 8-hydroxyquinolate and bismuth chlorosulphide gave > 75 control at 0.9 and 1.0 active ingredient. Against CBD, only bismuth 8-hydroxyquinolate demonstrated a significant level of activity; at 0.4, it gave almost 80 inhibition of sporulation (96 at 1.0). (ATA 11(8):55939. 1986)
