The SIAL clones present higher mean values of diameter of pods, weight and husk and some seed components. However, within the SICE series larger means for number of seeds per pod are observed which are not statistically significant. The heritability coefficients for all characteristics of pods and seeds were high in both clone series, in general all the characters in the SIAL being more expressed. The phenotypic, genotypic and environment correlations show that the principal yield characteristics were positively associated and are important factors for genetic material selection.
